Braxton Hicks - 28 weeks

Hi all :)

Just a quick question for everyone elses experiences!
Second baby and I'm 28 weeks. I don't remember having any Braxton Hicks with my first.

For the last few days particularly, my tummy seems to go hard and uncomfortable every few hours, with the discomfort moving round to my lower back as well. (It actually woke me up and kept me awake for a while during the night last night)

I generally feel under the weather at the moment - achy, sore throat, so tired, headachy etc so I don't know if I'm just feeling it more because of that.

Is all this "normal" or should I be ringing the midwife? I do have a routine appointment tomorrow and I'm trying to hang on til then really - but this discomfort is getting to me a bit now! It seems I either feel like this or little one is breakdancing about in there (which is lovely but my god can he kick!!!!!)

Sorry - I feel like I should know what's what - but this pregnancy is the polar opposite of my first!!!

xx

whilst you should always get professional opinion if you're worried in any way, it does all sound pretty normal to me. Especially seeing as you have midwife anyway this week.
