My lovely friend is expecting twins and is looking at double travel systems.
They all seem to be very £££ and she's a bit confused as to what she needs.

She is also considering fixed car seats and pram only, but I would think with twins it would be so much easier if she could take the car seats out, however I am not a mum of twins, so have no experience.

Any suggestions/advice welcome.

I don't have twins but have had children's close together. My favourite peaks Iv had are Jane twone. And Britax b dual. They both come in a range of colours. They are tandems, side by side are soon big and wide

I'm expecting twins and we have just been looking at the Brittax B Ready Double. Its a new model and seems to have everything we need and fits 2 x Brittax car seats so no adapters needed. It's not a side by side, it's one where one cot faces you and one away. So babies face each other but at different levels. Car seats when attached both face you. It's our favourite so far. Looked at Buggaboo Donkey Duo but far too wide for our doors inside. It is a minefield so know exactly how your friend feels! And they are all expensive!

Thank you, I will pass that on.

I'm expecting twins too. You're right it's expensive. We will be using Uppababy vista.
