Never had this in my first pg but dear lord how darn uncomfortable is it ?!
38 weeks now and I have had enough!
Even splints arent that great anymore.
Anyone else suffering at this ungodly hour ?!

Me, although it's just in my fingers not my wrists. I fall sleep, as soon as I wake up for my first of around 6 toilet trips per night is like my hand is frozen and becomes more like a claw

So bloody painful to move again and I just have to wiggle through it until they loosen up

Never had before, 38+5 today, first baby, really hope it sods off soon!

I had it with my 1st pregnancy & was signed off from my admin job at 28 weeks as i couldn't bear it anymore.

It's never fully gone away but as I went back to work part time I can cope better.

It's back with a vengeance this 2nd pregnancy though. The pain was actually my 1st indicator to do a pregnancy test!

I did get physio every 2 weeks first time around but it made no difference so I'll be saving my time & money this pregnancy.

I had no idea what this was! It just started a few nights ago, exactly like you Dlah - wake up to pee and have to painfully straighten my fingers and shake my hands around. It really hurts! And after a few nights of it they've started to continue feeling achy during the day as well.

38+0 today, really hoping it sods off after the baby is born.

Pregnancy...such fun.

Its really rank . Never known anything like it .Cant grip anything and the pins and needles - jesus! It had better piss off after baby or I shall get them fixed!!!

I've been suffering with it for about 5months now. I've been told it goes within 24horurs of having the baby. I've got it in both my wrists but also it's been going all the way up my arm,I've found holding an ice pack on my wrist eases it,also the basic exercises the midwife shows you about an hour before bed has helped.xx

Mine goes up the arm too all up shoulder so u have my sympathies there .
Splints really help too !
