Brown blood??

Im a little bit late but ive just had a small amount of brown blood.

Last month i had a bit more than this of brown blood before period started. This doesnt usually happen though, what does this mean?

How far gone are you? It's normal especially at early pregnancy but have a word with your midwife to be sure and put your mind at rest. I think during early pregnancy it's to do with embedding ( please correct me if I'm wrong)

Brown blood is old blood. Might be because you're pregnant, might not. Wait and see what happens, do a test, consult your GP if you're worried.

Oops just re read what you put! So ignore my answer it makes no sense I assumed you were pregnant already sorry ! (should have gone to specsavers)

Haha! Its okay. Im doing a test in the morning but im scared im going to come on fully in the night :( i went to the drs today because in 3 years i havent conceived :/ but they wouldnt do anything today, i have to go back in 3 weeks for a blood test, but i had a blood test today for anaemia and hes asked for the hormones to be included as well so hopefully ill get some answers.

I know i shouldnt but i cant help keeping my fingers crossed again this month... just in case

I would go back to the Dr ASAP because if you're having bloodwork done to investigate fertility issues you also need CD2 or 3 bloods taken. Would be good if you could get them done the same cycle as the CD 21 bloods.

I believe brown spotting prior to your period can be a symptom of low progesterone which your GP can pick up on blood tests.

Hello everyone,

So i was due on my period over a week ago, however on the day of my expected period, I had brown spotting instead. Especially when I wiped.

It's now a week later and the spotting has stopped and I have no signs of my period starting.

I suffer with PMS very badly and this month I haven't really noticed a change.

Is there a chance this is implantation bleeding or just a lead up to a late period?
