Ok yeah I know theres no such thing as I found out to my great dislike but what have people found to be the best thing to prevent stretch marks and to help reduce them afterwards.
I know the prevention question is a hard one as if you a specific cream you cant tell whether it was the cream that prevevnted them or not but heyho.

Ive tried most things and have come to the conclusion that its more to do with whether the skin has been stretched before IE gained weight then lost again. I'm not including previous babies in this as I think these can just open up previous stretch marks anyway much to my digust.
It had been quite depressing having lost all my baby weight but still not daring to bare as my skin looks soo horrific.... I'm only 23

Hi Bronze, this is my first and I don't have any...yet! Have found Loreal Nutri therapy for very dry and sensitive skin really nice. Not for strecth marks just moisturising. My mum (who doesn't have any; really hoping it's genetic!) swore by just plain old olive oil.

Bronze,

My friend and her sister (who have not one mark between them after 5 children) swore by Bio Oil, to both prevent and reduce stretchmarks, so now I'm slathering it on morning and night in the hope it works in at least making mine less visable.
It's fairly expensive (about £8.99 for 60ml) but it claims to "help prevent stretchmarks and reduce the appearance of existing stretchmarks". I hunted high and low for the stuff and finally tracked it down in Lloyds pharmacy. Hope this helps!

I didn't find any creams really helped much but I did enjoy using Body Shop Cocoa Butter stick. You roll it on your tummy like a deodorant, so you don't have to get your hands messy, and it smells of chocolate, yum!

I think I may just have to live with the fact that ds1 gave me stretchmarks and now they seem to be reappearing in the same places, as long as I dont get any more I'll cope
