Horrible cold - any effective natural remedies?

I'm 32 weeks and stuck in bed with a horrible cold - blocked nose, sore throat etc.

I would usually battle through it with lemsip and otravine but obviously don't want to take any of that.

I had a steam last night which offered some short relief but does anyone have any more natural remedies that actually work?

TIA

Hot water with lemon, honey and ginger, good for the sore throat.

Stalin nasal spray to help clear your nose. Works wonders pregnant or not!

Stalin spray???!!! Saline spray is what I meant!

I'm in the same boat. I've spent hours with my head over a bowl of boiling water trying to steam it out. It's crap!
Does Netflix, blanket on sofa and crumpets count as a natural remedy as that's my other method!

Zinc. It's actually proven to be better than vitamin c.

Thanks for the suggestions - have directed DP to pick up supplies!

Will now also add crumpets to the list...
