swollen feet

I'm now 34 weeks pregnant and in the last week i have suffered from swollen feet. This has come on all of a sudden but luckily i haven't had any other problems so far. Unfortunately i'm still at work (2 weeks to go!) so i can't really put them up except in the evenings. Is there anything else i can do to help as it really creeps me out! Also is there anything i need to be worried about except high blood pressure (my blood pressure has been checked this week and is fine)?
I would appreciate any advice or comments!

I ahd the same and it was very uncomfortable

as you said, you need to try to elevate your feet as much as possible....and keep an eye on your blood pressure....but you know that already!

drink lots of water and there are natural watery stuff like cucumber and melon which is also meant to help (to eat rather than slap on your feet - reminds me of a time when my sis was a teenager and she was told that jelly was good for your fingers nails......cue her sitting with her hands in bowls of strawberry jelly )

hope you are feeling better soon - the heat doesn't help at all, does it!!!

Think they have to be put up.

elevated above the level of your heart ideally - also at night, stick a pillow under your feet

my birth ball has become very handy for putting feet up on! (it has never been used for any kind of exercise!)

the thing is, i get pins and needles if i put them up for too long so i just end up doubly uncomfortable. this is the first time i've started to think i'm looking forward to having this baby now!
