Hi,

I am 34 weeks pregnant and have terrible sciatica. Had the same thing with my first about the same time. Only happens during pregnancy so assume it's weight related.

Has anyone seen a good (read miracle!) osteopath in London that could help? Ideally one that specialises in pregnancy.

Your help hugely appreciated!

TIA

How about one off this list? www.pelvicpartnership.org.uk/images/Recommended_practitioners.pdf

Or try DM-ing bananafish81 - she's got quite a few issues which are hormone related, and I know she sees an amazing women's ehalth physio in London who works miracles and is on that list. Or if you want I could ask her to look at this thread?

I really rate James Dodd at back2back, Earlsfield

I personally found a women's health physio better than an osteopath. They're more specialised in pregnancy and women's health. You can search for a physio with the right speciality here: www.csp.org.uk/your-health/find-physio/find-physiotherapist or the list that RobberBride posted might have some good options. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Thanks very much everyone - will take a look at those lists.

I used this osteopath when I had bad pelvic/back pain after pregnancy, he was great, very understanding and helped me in just a few sessions, and I have other friends who used him for pregnancy related pain as well.
