NEWBIE! need help!!

hi there! i'm new to all this but need some advice! found out i was pregnant on thursday-then in work on friday started having a brownish discharge with slight abdo pains so went to a&e (no doc appts!!) and had bloods etc done hcg levels were 411, had scan and nothing seen apart from shadow on womb(??) went for repeat blood on sunday hcg 934, started period like bleeding, thinking maybe miscarried? went for another blood test today and hcg are still rising at 1450!! what the hell is going on?? am i pregnant or not?? any experience of this??

no experience but I'll give you a bump and hopefully someone else can help.

loads of women bleed at that point, lo is burrowing and its quite common to get bleeds. are you passing any clots?

had a few clots but not anything large or different from period!

i am. like you hcg levels are rising but have been bleeding on and off for about 2w now. no pain, no clots, mostly old blood but qite heavy. got a scan on thurs. had one last tues and couldnt see a bean, but hcg levels are rising nicely, so thats got to be good news. you dont produce hcg without something being there iykwim

thats why i'm so confused i know they won't rise without something there but the bleeding scares me a bit! and i've had some bad pains!

went to the docs on the 7th thought i had a water infection-the doc phoned me an ambulance from the surgery to go a&e, turned out i had an ectopic pregnancy so they've had to take out my left tube! i'm ok tho! if i hadn't gone docs they say i could have died as it had started to burst! they also said that the shadow on womb was more than likely another baby. thanx for listenin tho!!

oh Tangy, I'm so sorry. Were you not in terrible pain? I hope you feel much better soon.

I am really scared of the idea of ectopics, I'm meant to be having an early scan next week to rule it out. I'm 6+2 weeks but haven't had any bleeds since 3+5 weeks so am hoping things are ok.

Have you seen Lissie's news? she was ectopic too
