So we're trying to conceive so I came off of my pill (cerazette) on the 9th of September. Normally I would get a period within a couple of days of stopping my pill. It's now been nearly a month and nothing. I'm testing negative but also getting the sore nipples etc.
I've got a night out next weekend and obviously won't be drinking if I'm pregnant (well won't anyway just in case) but I'd really like to know!

The really annoying and frustrating thing about ttc is that so many early pregnancy symptoms are also signs that af is about to arrive.

Test just before you go out. If it's still negative you could just drink lightly.

Cerazette is one that you take all the time without a bleed isn't it? Have you stopped taking it in the past and had a bleed straight away? Yes cerazette is the one you take constantly. I have come off of it a few times in the past for different reasons and have had a period 3ish days later.
Will test before I go out and be careful! Thanks again!

When I stopped the same pill I didn't get my first period until a month after stopping it. I fell pregnant though after my second cycle, and I wasn't even TTC. Good luck :)

I had mixed experiences with Cerazette. The first time I stopped I didn't have a period for 4 months and the second time it was just 2 weeks.

A lot of people get a withdrawal bleed once they've stopped cerrazette. Personally I didn't but started a period 4-5weeks after taking my last pill.
Saying that with DD I fell pregnant straight off cerrazette so didn't get a period at all. I remember having aching boobs and did a test after 6weeks which was positive!

As Laura says the times you have come off the pill before and got a bleed would have probably been a withdrawal bleed.

I was on Cerazette for a long time and it took 6 months for my periods to return and then another few months for my periods to regulate. I'm not saying this will happen to you but just be aware that everyone is different and it may take a while. Alternatively it could happen quickly.
