Today I got "no risk"
I was really expecting very high again and having to go for amnio. Im still very sceptical though, has anybody else had this?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Not me, as I am empty in the womb department and won't be filling it again. I'm delighted that you're not high risk, and don't worry when there's nothing to worry about.

Well that's great news Liesel! I don't know how these things work but can someone enlighten you on the technical reasons why this might be so? I guess you didn't ask/get adequate answers about this at the time - ?

And how is the pg going? (think you are due around the same time as me )

What is CUBS screening Liesel?

LieselVentouse · 06/02/2007 21:22

Its the Downs Screening.

The science bit - The biochemical markers that they measure are produced by the pregnancy (placenta/baby) not the mum so the risk is specific to each baby.

I love you Millarky
