Any who has/had this pram. What are the good and bad points? I've had a play around with one in the shop, I love the look of it and how chunky and sturdy it feels. I know it can be put flat so would I actually need a carrycot or is it worth getting that as well?

When is your baby due? I had a winter baby and the carrycot offered a lot of protection from the elements when she was tiny. Also mine was preterm and I wouldn't have been happy to put her straight into to a stroller.

Thanks, mine is due in Jan so will need the carrycot then. I do like the look of them too as well as being a little sturdy safe place to sleep.

No baby to put in yet but I love it. I've decided to not get the carry cot, most places I've read say how barely used they are, and as you mention, this can lie flat, and she's unlikely to be in it for prolonged periods initially anyway so decided against it

I got this pram in June when my baby girl was born. I love it, it's sturdy, yet very small. We have a Mini and it fits, oyster - or even clam-style - into the boot, even with the parcel shelf on. The bassinet is great, I'd get both fittings, as you'll need the baby to lie flat for the first 4-6 months. I also love the fact that the wheels are strong and sturdy, you never get stuck in any mud or on leaves. It comes with a raincover that fits bassinet and pushchair. And...bonus...it's a really attractive stroller but you pretty much never see them around and about (unlike a certain one beginning with B...)

We've just bought this. Faaar too early and were not due until July! I never could resist a January sale though. Mothercare are selling them with a free maxi cosi car seat, which can be clipped on to the frame. We're planning on using that when the baby is very tiny and then the lie down stroller

You won't regret it, and it's beautiful in that colour. V classy. Good deal on the free Maxi Cosi car seat. We also have that car seat and it clips on v easily.

We have it, used the carry cot for ages. In the end Dr was sitting up in it looking around so we swapped to the stroller. Light, easy to use and store. Ours is still in daily use with almost 2 year old where lots of friends have swapped to lightweight umbrella strollers. Only regret with baby 2 on the way us not getting the max model that can be used as a tandem, all parts are transferable between models with the right adaptors.
