How long did it take you to get your bfp when you realised af didn't arrive?

And how often is it down to just varying cycle length?
Af was due Monday so tested Monday evening and it was bfn. Now 3 days on and no af and certainly no sign of her.
For the last fortnight I've had incredibly tender nipples that hurt in coldish shower water and lots of white discharge... But no bfp or af.
Last month my cycle was 28 days exactly. Before that I had my usual pill related cycle, I just didn't go back on the pill.

My cycles are 31 days and I got my bfp at 4w2d

I wasn't late. I had a strange urge to do a test, got a positive on an early predictor test

Cycles were 27 days and got mine at 29. Sat feeding him now

I only tested 2 days after period was due so don't know if I would have got a positive before that. But got a definite positive when I did test.

I first tested on day 34 and there was such a barely there line thought I was imagining it, got proper positive the next time I tested on day 39.

From my dates I must have ovulated a week late that month despite being 28-31 days for months before, so you never know!

Did you all test from when af didn't show, or did you test? I could easily spend a fortune on tests at the moment.

I don't want to get my hopes up that I'm holding out for a bfp :( I will test in the morning though but not feeling too lucky.

My cycles varied slightly from between 32-34 days, I ovulated at around day 19 I think, got my BFP 15 days later on the day I was due on.
