What age do they class you as an older mum?
What age do they say you should have the amniocentesis?

I am 37 - Literally found out I'm pregnant today - I have 2 teenagers and a 10 yr old so very much out of it when it comes to pregnancy!!

I had geriatric primagravida on the top of my notes - I was only 34!

My mum was just short of 30 having me and that was on her notes too!

In the 1980s a friend of mine was 27 and classed as an elderly prima gravida. How things have changed.

I was an 'elderly' first time mum at 27 too (2000).
