5weeks & spotting

Hi everyone, just after some reassurance..
Found out I'm pregnant at the weekend, 5w+1
I had some slight periody cramps yesterday but nothing severe and today I've noticed some light brown discharge. It's only on a pantyliner and not when I wipe. Is this all normal? I have my dr's appt on Thursday so will talk to them about it but just after some advice from ladies who have been in/are in a similar boat!

Afraid you just have to wait and see. For what it's worth I had bleeding at about that stage with my now 2 year old. I also had it 4 weeks ago and now at 9 weeks everything looks fine. Try not to worry.
