7 days late, faint positive!?

Hi, Im new to this so hope I am doing this right! ... Super confused was wondering if anybody can help! I was due on my AF 7 days ago. Still nothing and no signs of it coming either! I have been having negative HPTS until this morning where I got a faint positive, it appeared with in 2 minutes but it was only a cheap boots one! ( I have spent so much on FRER and CB tests its unreal! ) I was planning on waiting until pay day which is Monday to get another one, what do you guys think? My mum said she didnt get her positive until 3 weeks late with me! Im just so impatient and I dont want to give up hope but until I see a dark line I think I am always going to believe I may not be, I unfortunately had a chemical pregnancy back in April and I am a little bit paranoid right now too! I have decided to take my Vitamins just incase! Was wondering if anyone has had anything similar?

Most positives are relatively faint to begin with as your HCG hadn't built up enough for a strong line. Also believe it or not the Cheapies tend to be more sensitive although FR are usually really good, CB are notoriously not as sensitive!

A line is a line as we say! False positives are very rare as the test Wont detect the pregnancy hormone needed to produce a second line if it isn't here - im pretty sure you're pregnant!

No one can ever believe it though so take another test in the morning if you need to! Highly recommend Superdrug's own brand. Good luck.

Thank you for replying! I took another test this morning and another positive line! I will post a pic of it tomorrow so you can see it and let me know what you think! Really hoping i have a bun in the oven!! Eek!

Hi guys! Hope all are doing good.. Need your guys help with respect to my pregnancy, Iam 7 days late from my period and today morning i gotta see a very faint line in the test. seriously confused and my doc is gonna come on Monday til then have no patience to wait. Pls anybody confirm whether it's positive or not.

If it’s a pink dye and you can definitely see pink then it’s a positive. If it’s a blue dye then you can sometimes confuse the blue ink with an evaporation line (or at least I can!). Verify it with a FRER and a Digital test tomorrow
