Been putting off getting a pram as honestly, I have no idea where to start! I'm now cutting it really fine & need to make a choice. There's so much range out there - choice / design & cost.

Ive seen one I like but I'm put off by the low price (I know that sounds ridiculous) but I want to buy something that's going to last. Has anyone else had a Hauck pram (similar or the same to the picture)? If so, thoughts? Thank you!

We have a Venicci, I love it. It's lovely to push, DD looks really comfy in and and she was in the carry cot until she was 6 months old, the carry cot bit has like a stand in the back if that makes sense so you can lie baby on an incline which was great for her reflux in the early days.
Loads of sun protection, it also has UV protection in the hood.
We've had loads of comments about our pram and for the price we paid I would highly recommend it.

That was meant to say comfy in it.
New phone and it's doing strange things !

I made a lot of mistakes with travel systems and am now on my third... We went for a cheap graco one Initially which wasn't great for a newborn but was ok from around 11 months as a pushchair. We bought a second hand Quinn buzz travel system, It was great but the chassis was heavy and a pain to put down. Our DD is now 16 months and we have an out n about v4 buggy, it's perfect for us as it's all terrain, I can jog with it and it has suspension. My point is it really does depend on what you want it for, we like to get out and about a lot for walks and days out, so all terrain wheels have always been better for us. Definitely worth going to a store and getting a feel for different ones, rather than rushing she decision and purchasing three like we did Confused

I was clueless and couldn't decide when a woman a work recommended the city mini GT. I love it and comparing it to friends DS prams it is great. Hopefully I'll be getting the double buggie soon too. Folds down flat with 1 hand and fits in our polo boot. Also the steering is amazing out at shops and outside. The only thing I don't like is its a bit unstable if I'd had to bump it up or down stairs as it has only 1 front wheel but worth it in every other way! Good luck!

You can get a four wheel version of the city mini.

They are ace - only reason we don't have one is ds likes to be parent facing

Spend more time looking at it in pushchair mode than pram mode. We have a Cruz, chosen in part because it has an extendable handle for the taller parent but the bassinate is short because according to uppababy's design taller parents don't have taller babies! My baby out grow the bassinate by 9 weeks.

We had a bugaboo chameleon on our first and i hated it. I didn't suit our needs and we just went for an expensive one as surly it's better right?! On my newborn we have tge mamas and papas armadillo flip xs and it totally blows the other out the water, i love it. And a very good price

KP86 · 29/09/2016 09:57

I have the 4 wheeled city mini. Wouldn't have bought a 3 wheeler, they make me nervous.

Kazups22 · 30/09/2016 10:06

We've got the Joie Chrome Plus. Tried it out at babyshow and loved it. Easy to open and close and is sturdy. Huge basket underneath! Seemed a decent price too compared to somr

Greenbigtree · 30/09/2016 22:54

Bought my Pram off a Facebook selling group (uppababy one). Fraction of the cost and well chuffed.

I didn't buy new with first child either and managed to sell it for what I paid for.

I would never buy new with a Pram. It depreciates very fast! And you can pick up some real secondhand bargains then pay a buggy valeter to make it look like nww

First time mummy here. Was also totally clueless so ended up going for a great condition icandy peach off of gumtree after reading good reviews. I was seduced by the look pf it. Was 250 including the carry cot and other bits. Hoping this was not a daft purchase!

plannedshock · 01/10/2016 18:44

Had an uppababy vista, loved it, took it round fields, dragged it through sand/snow completely overloaded it and still using it on my second baby. Worth every penny-has a huge basket too

MrsRaymondReddington · 01/10/2016 18:52

Newmum - I've just bought the I candy Strawberry 2 and am also hoping it was a sensible purchase. I just went for looks! I have another 10 weeks before I get to use it!
