I got my matb1 form today and on it, it's say I'm expecting to have my baby on the week of 23/1/17 this isn't my due date? My due date is the 18/1/17 Does that matter or is this wrong? (First baby, abit clueless!!!)

It'll matter if you are in work and are taking maternity leave, it's how they work out the latest you need to leave and when you'll be due back.

Oh and also for claiming smp/ma.

I've noticed that the workings out of maternity leave and pay are based on the week commencing when baby is due. I've used the gov.uk calculators this week and my baby(ies!) are due 10 February but the date on my form says the Sunday before due date. Not sure if that helps or not op!

The form says the week including.
So the date they out in is the week ending.
It will make no difference to your maternity pay.
I work in Payroll

I think (could be wring) It works from the Sunday of the week before you're due.
