I had a growth scan two weeks ago at 28 weeks which showed normal measurements for the baby but an increased amniotic fluid index of 21cm.
Today (now 30 weeks) I saw my midwife and she did the fundal height measurement for the first time. I was expecting it to be big because of the fluid but it's come out at 27cm, well below the 5th centile line on my chart. It's actually lower on the graph than the estimated date by scan two weeks ago.
Has anyone had anything like this happen? Has my baby shrunk? Or could this just be down to the position s/he is lying in?
