Don't want VBAC, help me be logical?

I had an EMCS under GA three years ago due to HELLP syndrome. I hadn't even gone into labour and it was all quite sudden. I feel fine about it. I'm now pregnant again and feel I want another c-section. I can't articulate why, I just do. Any thoughts on where I can read about this and try and come to a proper view?

If you are not that bothered by the midwife's shortcomings then fair enough, but if it helps, I ditched mine and transferred to the hospital. They were very understanding, I cancelled all the surgery appointments and I am so much happier now! The point being it was totally straightforward to switch.

Thanks bluebird it's clearly a situation for me where the practicalities outweigh the principles. Going to the hospital is a complete nightmare so I'd rather minimise my visits there. I might see if I can occasionally go to the other community midwives' clinics if they're more convenient.
