Steroid jab

Hi, I have to have the steroid jab to help baby's lungs as I'm delivering early. Wondering what it's like as I'm slightly nervous. I once had the contraceptive jab and am wondering if it is like that? Thank tou x

I haven't had the contraceptive jab, but I did have to have steroid injections at 24 weeks, they weren't pleasant and were in my bum, but I focussed on it being good for my DD, it was a bit tender for a couple of days but nothing major. It also randomly caused me to have one very red cheek on my face, apparently it's common, it went after a week.
