Sat here on my own crying and scared.

I'm 24 weeks. I just feel like I need air. I'm so out of breath even when I'm sitting or laying.

I rang the doctors on Friday and she doesn't care. The midwife doesn't want to see me until 30 weeks and I just feel like I'm suffocating

interestingly the out of hours doctor just rang me for the second time to check up on me and see if I'm ok and asked me if I want to come in apparently she's been discussing me with a colleague. I've said that I won't come in tonight as she doesn't seem worried and will ring the doctor in the morning

Please take care Carrick & see someone if things don't improve, even if it means A&E.
I'm a big believer in following your instincts & with you being pregnant getting checked out can never be a bad thing.

I will, thankyou. I'll take it easy tomorrow and have a few days worth of tablets haven't been taking any pregnancy vitamins. If things don't improve I'll make sure I push to see a doctor.

thank you all for your support tonight. I'm so much calmer than I was earlier and although I still feel short of air, breathing does feel easier. I'm gonna go try to sleep

Hope you're feeling better this morning

Thankyou. I'm just fed up now more than worried. I've puked all over the living room floor this morning and was then violently sick after breakfast. I'm a wreck

I rang a community midwife (my midwife isn't in until tomorrow) and she didn't ask me any questions, just told me to go to a&e. That's not the answer - this isn't an emergency.

So I've just managed to get through on the phone to the duty doctor. She's going to see me later today.

I'm not hopeful I'm going to get any answers tbh. She said she'd see me so that she can reassure me. I want to know why, not just be reassured.

Hope you've been seen now Carrick?Flowers

I had the same and when I rang my GP he got me blue lighted straight to hospital as it could be a clot in the lung. Turned out to be an undiagnosed heart problem. You don't know if it's an emergency or not so just go to A&E.

Literally just got back from the doctors. Oxygen levels are good, temperature is good, lungs sound good. She wants me to have a full works blood test first thing tomorrow morning and we'll get the results the following day.

She asked me if I've been generally anxious about the pregnancy Grin couldn't be further from the truth.

She is thinking it might be my iron levels and the fact that because I've got more blood, the iron I do have is diluted.
