Okay so I've had a really stressful day! I'm now getting pains in my right side but more on my bikini line/groin, also my thigh is so achey! I'm so so worried! I'm 7-8 weeks. I've had no bleeding, and it's not a constant pain it just comes and goes, any ideas??

It sounds like growing pains. They're very common around the early stages of pregnancy. But if your worried go and get yourself seen too. It's better to be safe and it will help put your mind at ease.

Thank you! Can you get growing pains on the one side in that area?

It could just be cramp or wind i got horrible trapped wind down 1 side early pregnancy, if you are in pain maybe get it checked out ring NHS direct or midwife unit/antenatal ward

Yup I had really sharp stabbing pains right down on the right side around 7-8 weeks. It's unsettling but likely to be more growing and stretching. I was told not to worry about pain unless it was accompanied by bleeding but always worth a call to your midwife if you're worried they really don't mind.

Yeah one side is common. My midwife said it's all to do with your ligaments and muscles stretching and moving to start accommodating a growing baby :-) it can happen in one side at a time or both sides. It's uncomfortable but it should stop around 12 weeks.
