20w scan small stomach

So I went for my 20 week anomaly scan today and the sonographer said that the stomach is measuring small. She's asked for a re-scan in 10 days but it's got me worried as we've had problems in previous pregnancies.
Has anyone else had this? And what was the outcome?

In my 20w scan with ds2, they couldn't even find his stomach! Went back a week later and all was fine - it was to do with the angle of the baby apparently.

No experience but didn't want to read and run. Did the sonographer say to be worried or anything?

She didn't really say anything. She talked a lot about cleft lip and palette but didn't say if she'd seen anything. But I know that a small stomach can indicate cleft palette as well as other things. She seemed a bit panicky but didn't say anything.

Our son had lots wrong with him and we lost him at 21 weeks so I'm worried the same thing will happen again

Could you ring them on Monday morning or even talk to your GP? The waiting and unknown is very hard

Have a read through your notes on your scan report and see what she has said. But usually if they see a problem they will tell you there and then what they can see, they did with us and said his heart didn't look right and the great vessels looked in the wrong places. We had to wait 5 days to see a specialist for another scan and that was awful we couldn't sleep at all

Thanks everyone. I had a consultant appointment yesterday and I was talked through what it could mean and told to wait until my re-scan appointment next week.
They apologised for putting me with that particular lady because I'm high risk and under foetal medicine I should have been with someone who knows a bit more about the things we've been through previously and apparently she doesn't have the best delivery of potentially bad news and tends to over exaggerate things.
