I got given 3 so didn't need to buy any, sort of thing that Mothercare would stock.

TheLongRains · 15/09/2016 12:28

I got a three pack from mothercare recently :)

Was told not to bother and just use regular towels, but I find I do actually prefer the hoods, especially when they start to run away from you after a bath...you can at least hook the hood over them and it keeps the towel on ;)

BendydickCuminsnatch · 15/09/2016 12:29

DS has an incredible one from IKEA that makes him look like a wizard. Far too big for a newborn though, newborn we used mother are hooded towels but to be honest rarely used the hood! He also a ducky one as a gift. Super cute though.

CharminglyGawky · 15/09/2016 12:29

Ikea have about 3 different ones. Mothercare have them and I bet if you check online or ask instore as I'm not sure if they would be in the baby or the bath section John Lewis, M&S, Debanhams ect will have them. In fact I reckon most of the supermarkets will have them as well although you may need to look online.

Otherwise, any online baby shop will have them!

MissRainbowBrite · 15/09/2016 12:30

I had a few but the nicest was from Dunelm. It was bigger than the others and much thicker.

RattieOfCatan · 15/09/2016 12:36

Ikea! They do some nice simple ones.

Afreshstartplease · 15/09/2016 12:38

Asda

LBOCS2 · 15/09/2016 12:44

I got a free one from Persil in my newborn Bounty bag (I know, they're the devil, they sell your details and prey on postnatal hormonal women... But I'm a sucker for a freebie!).

Otherwise, Mothercare or Asda, I'd suggest.

Picked up a pack of 3 for DN in Tesco. Mother care also them xx

LillianFullStop · 15/09/2016 15:52

I've seen them in John Lewis but I would think Mothercare would have some too?

TerriB84 · 15/09/2016 17:13

I was bought one as a gift (fairly recently I might add as baby is still a bump). Have no idea how useful it will be yet but it was from matalan so I imagine very reasonably priced.

happylass · 15/09/2016 17:45

I think I saw them on offer in Asda.

Clairejessica123 · 15/09/2016 19:07

We got given some from Aldi which are still going strong after 10months I believe they have a baby sale on next week

panad317 · 15/09/2016 19:13

I got a 3 pack from boots for around £12. With DC1 we were given lots as gifts. Most were from home bargains and they're still going strong 2 and a half years later!

OrianaBanana · 15/09/2016 19:16

My friend has a lovely couple of fluffy hooded towels from the White Company (twins). They do pink, blue and white, large and small.

I had a cuddledry towel which went round your neck like an apron which I found more useful. It also had a hood.

bumblemouse · 15/09/2016 19:17

I found them useless. The towels that go round your neck look really good. I haven't got one, I've just got wet clothes.

SnugglySnerd · 15/09/2016 19:18

Sainsbury's sell them too.

blueskyinmarch · 15/09/2016 19:19

Oh gosh, i had forgotten about hooded bath towels. It has made me all nostalgic for baby bath time. My ‘baby’ is currently trying to cram more stuff into the car as she is bound for uni. I am having a little wallow here.

tropicalstorm · 15/09/2016 19:20

John Lewis :)

LBOCS2 · 15/09/2016 19:30

I've just been to IKEA and they have some really big ones which would definitely last a bit longer than your standard baby (postage stamp) sized ones.

AmeliaJack · 15/09/2016 19:33

Our ikea ones are still used by our 8 yos.

Naked superheroes are regularly scheduled to be seen running around the upstairs landing. Grin
