I ve mentioned to my GP today that i ve had some stretching pain over the last week and some brownish discharge.

Im Rhesus Negative blood. The GP is ringing the early pregnancy unit today to see if they want to see me. Im 8 weeks today. Will it be an internal scan?

Does anyone know whether the early pregnancy unit will want to see me or say its nothing to worry about?

Very likely to be an internal scan (which is really fine). I don't know whether your EPU will see you - some seem very dismissive while others will see you from early on for any type of spotting.

It probably will be the EPU and the likelihood is that they will try an external scan first (so have a full bladder) but in reality an internal one will probably be necessary, especially if you have a tilted uterus.

I hope it all goes well for you.
