Bad anxiety!!!

After getting pregnant straight after a miscarriage I'm so frightened of loosing this baby! I'm constantly doing pregnancy tests because Im scared of it happening again! Obviously my partner doesn't really understand so just wondering if anyone else has felt the same way as me

Yes I done loads of pregnancy tests and became obsessed with the clear blue ones where they tell you the weeks. It's hard and I think a lot of woman go through it.

There are no clear signs you are pregnant etc no bump, no baby moving.

Do try and stop doing the tests as it's a waste of money and maybe try and book in for an early reassurance scan. That made me feel a bit better xx

I'm glad I'm not the only one, yes mine are the clear blue too there so expensive my partner is going mad at me but it did go from 1-2 weeks to 2-3 which reassured me a bit I have my midwife appointment Friday so I'm going to book one then as I can't last till 12 weeks, I think it's just natural to worry! Thank you xx

I had a miscarriage in my 20s and at 34 when I got pregnant I still worried it would happen. I think it's normal to worry especially if the loss is recent. Id agree with the reassurance scan we had one at 8 weeks and Id read I they find a heartbeat at 8 weeks there was around a 95 percent chance of a successful pregnancy although obviously nothing in life is certain. I hope you manage to relax soon. Xx

It's horrid, isn't it? There were days when I would sob in the evenings from the thought of losing another pregnancy.

I'm almost 32 weeks now and have to say, be prepared for it to come and go. I was a sobbing mess for about an hour just last night because I want her out, because I feel like she's safer out than in at this stage! Which is nonsense. So try not to set yourself up for 'when I hit X milestone, I'll relax'. You might feel better (I certainly do most of the time) but try not to put pressure on yourself. Pregnancy after loss is a tough beast, but I found the weeks started flying by after about weeks 16, and some days you just have to keep your head down and get through it
