Anyone moved house while pregnant or considered moving?? Is it normal to feel hot then cold about it??

We need a bigger house, we have a 3 bed with 4 kids which is not a problem really.... But we have no dining room and a tiny kitchen, no room for a dryer or chest freezer, we have a compact dining table in the living room. So I looked online and found a house close by with bigger rooms, a lot more stroage space, it has a bigger kitchen with an out house at the end loads of space !!! I decided I had to take a look at this house and we both really like it and it's within out monthly budget. I really want to go for it.... One minuet! Then the next minuet I think awww but I like my little house the way I have decorated I like my neighbors and I can't imagine moving away to some strange house. I feel maybe it's my hormones in 24 weeks pregnant. Or I'm not sure if I'm making the wrong choice and should wait until a 4bed becomes available in my area (which is rare except in the rough side of town which I want to avoid at all costs) I'm not sure what to do

I have moved- at 27 weeks I moved from London to Sydney. It was tough leaving our lovely London flat and renting it out to strangers, and I still get a bit upset thinking about it, but it's been for the best too. Bloody hard work moving whilst pregnant though, and that was with professionals packing all our stuff for us. If it will make your lives more comfortable in the long run, which it sounds like it will, then I would go. The new place will eventually feel like home too

We have plenty of people to help packing and decorating the new place it's just the sadness I feel for leaving here but I know I will love the new place once it's decorated my way I am not used to moving I have only ever moved home once lol. That was our my my mums and into here. If we do move it will be around 3-4weeks as we need to apply and see what happens and give my landlord 1months notice but we would be Invetween the two houses doing tip runs and moving stuff and decorating but I'm so worried about it! We already met the neighbor as she came out while we were there and she's a little old lady who lives alone and seams very nice

I moved 2 weeks ago. It was tiring but worth it. I dos hire removal men and packers though as I couldn't lift anything and no one would let me anyway.

I really want to go for it but feel so tied to this house for some reason, but maybe it's just the unknown of how it will all pan out

I will have moved twice in my pregnancy by the time the baby arrives and whilst I know it's worth it, it has been unsettling. But I think I would have felt like that regardless!

Is the new house far from where you are now?

No it's a 5 minute walk so my kids will still be in the same school and we are still close to all the shops and drs and it seams amazing to have found this house

I moved at 32 weeks pregnant..did all the move.twat did nothing.and it was for his benefit...

Easier preg than with newborn I expect

We moved when DD was a week or so old, we were supposed to be signing the contracts on the day she was born :)

Easiest move ever as I went to MIL while H and others did all the moving, I just rolled up when it was done.

I don't think being PG is the issue for you though really here, you sound attached to your current house. I suppose what you need to decide is if you can all comfortably fit when the baby arrives? Will baby be No.5 or was 4 kids including new addition? Kids grow fast and what seems a fit now will soon feel overcrowded. We have 3 kids in a 3 bed house that has plenty of extra downstairs room, now they are teenagers it feels a lot smaller!

We have just purchased a house - I'm 34 weeks, if all goes to plan, completion is around 2 weeks before due!

We've already agreed to hire removal men for the bigger items and then OH and family will shift boxes, I can help pack them up just won't be lifting.

Like someone said, easier to get done before newborn here - go for it!

We moved when I was 32 weeks (ish?)and I'm really glad we did. We had been at our previous house for 8 years so I was attached to it but we have so much more room where we are now and I think k it's easier to do pregnant than with a new born.

We built a house. The first building started just before I found I was pregnant. Had to project manage it whilst sick. Moved in at seven months ish while I had severe hyperemesis and spd.

We managed, it was fine.

I do feel attached but I also feel it's time to move on, this pregnancy was not planned and I have only redecorated just before Christmas last year and really like my living room and passage deco which I think is why I feel so attached but I'm sure that's just normal?

I WISH I had moved while pregnant - we had an offer accepted 2.5 months ago, when I was 7 months. We're first time buyers with no major complications so thought it would be quick, but I'm now 5 days overdue and we still don't have an exchange date set, let alone completion. For the last few weeks I've been resigned to not moving before the baby arrives, but it's still annoying as I don't want to buy too much furniture etc before the move.

We're in a rented place at the moment though, so I have very little attachment to it.

Today is the day we go for another look and decide I feel a bag of emotions and no idea why!!
