Placenta capsules - anyone tried this previously?

I have been reading about the benefits of placenta pills recently and wondered if anyone has used them after previous pregnancies and what effect, if any, they had?

I had mine done. It was my first baby so have nothing to compare it to! I certainly had a massive milk supply and was relatively even balance with moods after birth, so can only assume the capsules helped with that.
