Please share your tips for concealing smells

The smell of pretty much everything makes me want to vom!

Is anyone else in the same situation? Please share your tips for hiding smells so I don't need to resort to the Blackadder "pencils up my nose" look.

There is nothing you can do! I had this throughout my pregnancy and it was horrific. I nearly vomited every time I opened the fridge, when people passed me in the street, don't even mention public toilets. I could barely stand to cook or prepare food for my eldest and DH. You have my sympathy

I find trying to hide smells makes it worse! But then chemically type smells always make me feel poorly so room sprays and scents and stuff is always a no go anyway.

Mostly I'm just keeping windows open, keeping things as clean as i can face doing and avoiding my worst triggers. Much, much better than I was and now my only reliable trigger is the freezer... it is clean and doesn't need defrosting but if I want anything from it I send my husband!!!

I've been opening a lot of windows too. The smells that I've used to mask the smells have often proved as bad as the smells themselves, IYSWIM!

Keep a mint teabag about your person. Not only does it conceal smells but also mint settles the stomach so can help with the associated nausea.

Depends on what sets you off. If lavender is ok for you you can get those lavender bean bag things to carry around and shove you face into when other smells are getting to you. I always found nibbling something I could bear to eat the best solution though, to stop the puke creeping up your throat.

Definitely relying on lavender to help with the smells...

I found that a tiny bit of Vicks vapour rub on a hanky or the inside of a cuff worked for flinging in my face in the moment of unbearable smells

I replaced all our Carex soaps with fragrance free from soap bars from Simple. They were absolutely turning my stomach.

Funnily enough just today I went to Home Bargains (not sure if that's a local shop or a national chain) and got those gel air freshener things so cheap. 3 pack for 99p lol.
So I bought 6 and have dotted them all over the house. 2 in the kitchen coz it f**king stinks (I'm the only one who can smell anything)

Only wanted to comment as I thought it was interesting to read!
I can't help but feel sorry for the men in our lives too, they have all sudden started to stink unbearably I couldn't bear my partner or kids even breathing near me but thankfully that has passed now. I really thought we were a family of stinkers at one point!

Another recommendation for the dab of Vicks under the nose trick (assuming you are ok with that!)
