I'm a first time mom. 40 weeks exactly. I had a very painful sweep yesterday which brought on mild period like cramps which stopped overnight. The midwife managed to move alot of my plug, I was 2cm dilated 3 at a stretch and she said my water bulging although my cervix was still a little posterior. Today I've been on two long walks with hills etc which gave me backache. I have now started to lose more of my plug with blood streaks in it and very achy.
Any thoughts? Am I on my way?
I have another sweep booked in for tomorrow but hopefully I won't need it.
