Recommendations for pregnancy pillows?

Has anyone got one and what is it and is it worth the £40 odd?

I'm 19 weeks and having a lot of pain in my hips and round the back of my pelvis. I also have a writhing kicking cosleeping 5 year old which is not helping! (we are working on that part)

My hesitation (apart from the cost and the fact they are huge!) is, will it feel like sleeping in a hole?! Anyone with hip/back pain found they helped?

I got one off amazon for £30 and honestly it's amazing! I'm 27 weeks with twins I have awful back and hip ache and sleeping was just impossible! But honestly it's brilliant I would Defo recommend. The only downside is because they are so big it can be quite hard to manoeuvre if u want to change position in the night and get comfy, especially if you have little ones in bed haha. I also often have a 2 or a 5 year creep into bed and as you can imagine space gets limited haha. In my opinion though Defo worth the money xx

Dream genii

I LOVED my dream genii from 12 weeks until about a week ago (36weeks) and couldn't sleep without it. At this point it just makes me hot so I've ditched it and don't need anything but honestly think it's been invaluable!

Another one who got it from amazon, got mine a few weeks ago for about £25 and it's great. Took a few nights getting used to it though. I tried sleeping without it last week when it was hot but I regretted it big time!

Hate to say it for the cost but the dream genii is amazing. I was resolutely sticking to my two normal pillows and then my sister offered me the use of her dream genii a few weeks ago and it's amazing. She picked hers up in tk maxx iirc and got it for a really good price. Its so so comfortable.

I have a the boppy 6ft pillow and it's ace, bump support, head support and leg support that can all be used independently

Hi butterfly. I bought the Sanggol Maternity pillow (amazon) and it's the best thing I've done. It was roughly £36, it is very big but really for what it does, it needs to be! I don't get too hot or feel like I'm in a hole, I feel lovely and snuggly! They also double up as a great feeding pillow for after the birth.
Reviews are great which is why I decided to go for it and I wasn't disappointed.

Dream Genii.

I really resented the cost when I bought it -seemed ridiculous - but it was honestly the best buy of my pregnancy. Used it every night and it really eased my spd and general pregnancy pains

Have also used it everyday since DD was born 13 months ago. It has been a great support when holding her - has saved many an arm-ache, especially as DD turned out to have horrendous reflux and had to be propped up at an angle in someone's arms for 45 mins after each feed. Worth every penny.
