Feel like I've pulled a muscle in my abdomen

I coughed quite suddenly last night and had a sudden stabbing pain in my lower right abdomen. It didn't last very long but although not painful now, it still feels a little tender particularly when I sneeze or blow my nose. Anyone else had this?
Will be ringing my mw later. I'm 7+ 4 today.

Hi helbelle. I'm 17+3 and get this on a fairly regular occurrence (cough/ sneeze/ laugh etc.). In my case it's just round ligament pain as everything is stretching and loosening. I think I started noticing the twinges about 8 weeks or so. You're doing the right thing by ringing midwife, hopefully it's just the ligaments but always better to be sure.

Many congrats Flowers

It's round ligament pain. Beware of sneezing while lying on your side!

I get this when I sneeze/cough too hard or reach up high to get something. Hurts like hell but as far as I know it's not dangerous.

Thanks all. It really freaked me out! My last pregnancy ended in mc so I'm feeling super anxious.
