I do want to know when would you do the test.

Not TTC but had my last period at the end of december but two weeks later had another one but not like a normal period, more sort of on off bleeding. Did wander about implantation bleeding but seemed too heavy for that.

Now according to my normal cycle my period should have arrived but hasn't so what would you do? Shall I just wait a couple of weeks and see if it arrives or test now?

I'd test now just for peace of mind, you never no! When i was unsure i bought a cheap sainsbury's test, turned positive straight away then went back and bought some expensive clearblue tests just to be completely positive. Good luck

cupcake78 · 01/02/2007 11:00

I would do a test and then you know for sure. Good Luck.

throckenholt · 01/02/2007 11:02

depends how keen you are to have a baby. If there is no particular concern either way then I would wait and see what happens. If you really don't want to have one then the sooner you know for sure the better I guess.

funnypeculiar · 01/02/2007 11:03

Do the test now. Come back & tell us!
Good luck ... (would it be OK for you to be pg now?)

Peachy123 · 01/02/2007 11:04

ah fingers crossed for u!!!

scottishbird · 01/02/2007 11:05

Def do the test. If you wait and you're not pg, the stress of waiting will just delay your period even more. (sorry, don't know all the abbrev yet)

Thankyou for the replies, will go and get a test after DS has had a nap.

It's odd I had such a horrible birth with DS that I swore I wouldn't do it again but part of me is excited about the possibility, so no it wouldn't be the end of the world at all. But it wouldn't be the end of the world if i'm not either IKSWIM?

I would probably have waited a bit longer to do a test but I'm due to have a coloscapy (sp?) in a couple of weeks so I'm not sure how that would affect things.

Will report back once I've done the test.

Hi. Have you done the test yet? Good luck.

My situation was very similar to your, except I had two mc's last year but didnt 'do it' during the 'fertile period' last month.

AF was due on 22nd Jan, but felt normal and was just 'waiting to see'.

ANYWAY, im going to Africa next month and was advised not to have the yellow fever if pregnant. Did test this morning and was SHOCKED AS ANYTHING to see a blue cross! I immediately booked an emergency appt. with DR, who confirmed PG.

So, looking forward to hear your news. Good luck. Hope your not posting is not due to unexpected news or shock. xx

funnypeculiar · 02/02/2007 18:55

See you got a neg - hope that's OK for you ... another time...
