I'm still panicking anyway. Really embarrassing but you couldn't go to the toilet and do a poo and lose the baby without you noticing could you? It wouldn't just fall out would it? Just went to the loo looked down and panicked!!!

Sorry seems a stupid question but am 6+5 and have been bleeding for over a week but I know there is still a baby with a heartbeat as I had a scan yesterday.

This really is an embarrassing stupid question but I don't want to ring anyone to ask.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

very unlikely......if you did, then you would see something , certainly a large clot..

are you worried that straining when you go could cause you to 'push' the baby out?

poor you...must be a terrible worry..however, once the heartbeat has been seen, it usually bodes really well for a healthy pregnancy...

HTH a bit x

Its not a stupid question. We all have worries of a sort when pg, and I would bet that yours is not unusual.

NappiesGalore · 31/01/2007 17:44

if its a genuine concern of yours, its not a silly question. i'll bet midwives have been asked all sorts, some a lot sillier no doubt!

do ring your midwife and explain that you feel a bit silly but you have some questions/concerns and could you see here to have a little chat about it all.

I can remember thinking that once or twice...

Thank God for Mumsnet!

Thank you all for no PYSL. I have just felt some more pulling so that has reassured me some what and I have another scan on Friday so all will be revealed then.

There was certainly no large clot just tiny bits so I think your right probably not the baby!
