Mosquito bites relief.

Help please! I am 16 weeks pregnant.
Last night I was attacked by a mosquito in my living room! I have counted 20 bites so far. They are huge bigger than 50p an red, hot an incredibly itchy. What can I use to relive the itching??? Please help.

We go to Sweden every summer and I get completely attacked by mosquitoes. Top tip: DO NOT SCRATCH! This will be briefly satisfying but will make them much worse.

I find soaking in cold/ lukewarm water is a relief, and I also find tea tree oil helpful. I haven't researched its safety in pregnancy though, you'd have to look into that.

Gosh, that's a lot. I had two and was really uncomfortable.

Try to avoid them, they can spread infection. Maybe it would be an idea to ask the Dr if you can take an antihistamine?

I her kids after bite, it's pretty effective at stopping the itching. Have you tried one of those electric clicker things?

Put a teaspoon in a hot drink. Press it onto the bites for 3 - 5 seconds. Should solve the problem.

Needs to be 50c +. Which is as hot as you can bare.

I've not tried kids after bite will look into it.
I've used clicker before an it's satisfying when u click but it doesn't last an the electric shock isn't pleasant!

I find Vicks vaporub soothing. It's not 'officially' approved for use in pregnancy but this NHS approved website doesn't raise any massive flags so might be worth a shot?

Thanks all, I'll try the hot spoon. I've put green tiger balm on them as I was in agony an it worked a few years ago. But I'm not sure I can use it being pregnant. Got midwife appointment tommorrow I will ask her. But I'm not confident she will help! Clearly I have scratched in my sleep an reacted to them. One of them is so big it's nearly the size of my fist an it's so hot. Hope I don't scratch tonight! Thanks again.
