Pregnancy test - what does it mean??

I did a pregnancy test on the day my period is due and so it would be really really early and it was just a cheap poundland one and there was literally the faintest line in the world you could barely even see it at all like I almost thought I was imagining it but then at other angles it was slightly more "visable"

Is it too early and that's why the line is so faint?? Or is it just the outline of the print already on the test? Please help I'm so confused

If the line had colour it means u are pregnant!! Faint just means it's really early days and not much pregnancy hormone detected yet. Test again on Monday as hormones double every 48 hours or so. Congratulations!

i would test again tomorrow. i doubt the 1 pound ones you are meant to use the day before your period is due. it normally says on the packet if they can be used earlyer. you might be seeing an evaporation line... hope you get the news your hoping for

The line needs to have colour in it (the same colour as the control line) otherwise you're just seeing the indent on the test where the line would be or an evaporation line (if the line is grey).
