Backache and paracetamol

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and over the last week have started to get backache quite badly, which has been stopping me sleeping. If I take a paracetamol before going to sleep, I sleep fine, but is this OK to do every night?

I hope so, because I do that too - otherwise I'm in agony. I also lie on the sofa with a hot water bottle under me before going to bed, or one of those mud-pack things that you heat up in the microwave - I find they ease the ache a bit before going to bed. It's a nightmare, isn't it? I'm 36 weeks and suffering more every day with SPD too.

I do this too and I'm only 25 weeks - I've had bad back problems even before pgncy and my doc told me paracetamol was fine to take.
I can't sleep unless I take them first and I have a hotty botty in bed too and lots of pillows.

Thanks a lot www and fs - I'll try the hot water bottle thing too before I go to bed - I can't have one in the bed as I'm soooo hot at night now! I wasn't sure if paracetemol was OK on such a regular basis, but it certainly helps ease the pain!
