If you just want a band that covers the gap, so to speak (ie: doesn't offer a lot of support, but is quite stretchy), topshop maternity sell a good one for about a fiver.....

I cut the bottom off a top where there were holes in the elbows, if you follow. Cost £0, located in - back corner of tops drawer. Works exactly the same as a shop bought one !
