Currently going through this,
Baby has had shunts put in through his back and into his chest to drain the fluid from around his heart, lungs and in his tummy.
Also under his skin around his whole body.

No experience either I'm afraid, just didn't want to read and run. That's impressive what they can do, hope you and baby do really well. Very best wishes to you both also Flowers

Wow it is incredible what they can do now. Do you have to stay in hospital for a while? How many weeks are you? All the very best!

SockQueen · 18/08/2016 22:56

It's amazing what they can do! No advice, but best of luck for you and your baby.

I was in and out the same day, just took it easy (whilst arranging and hosting a 3 yr olds party for a few days after! Wink)
I know it's so crazy what they can do, went back today and they are happier ish that one side has drained, the other looks to be following suit so fx his tummy does too! Xx
