38+5 for me

Dixiechick17 · 17/08/2016 12:54

Five days overdue, that was by the due date of my scan. If I go by the date of conception which was a later date than my scan predicted it to be (we know the date due to contraception failure) then I was bang on what my conception calculated due date would have been. My DD was engaged from 32 weeks, if you are worried speak with your midwife.

UnicornPee · 17/08/2016 12:59

First was born one day early
Second was born 12 days late

MyBreadIsEggy · 17/08/2016 13:05

My first was born at 38 weeks.
My sisters first (and only) was born at almost 42 weeks.
Babies come whenever they are ready Smile

MrsBartlettforthewin · 17/08/2016 13:06

Congratulations . My first was two weeks late and had to be evicted by the midwives.

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 17/08/2016 13:35

DD was 9 days late (5 days of contractions). Number 2 due in Nov so will see!

KayTee87 · 17/08/2016 14:48

Went into labour 41 weeks and he was born the next day - 8 days 'late'

user1469518192 · 17/08/2016 21:57

7 days overdue and 10 days overdue. I never was one of those lucky 38 weekers, sigh. Although never been induced. I'm on baby number 3 pregnancy now. This one better not exceed 10 days ha ha.

DesignedForLife · 18/08/2016 03:47

40+13
Now 40 weeks with DC 2, playing the waiting game!

1frenchfoodie · 18/08/2016 08:15

40+15 with DD five months ago. Took 3 sweeps, breaking of waters and induction drip - she really did not want to come out of there Smile Glad I started maternity leave at 38 weeks and not earlier.

WanderingTrolley1 · 18/08/2016 08:24

38+5 with 1st
40+15 with 2nd
37+2 with 3rd

Marmite27 · 18/08/2016 08:25

1st was 2 weeks early. I went into shock when my waters went (my first clue, I'd had NO pain at all) because, you know 11st babies are always late!

Ilovenannyplum · 18/08/2016 08:30

DS born at 38 + 5
Smile

BendydickCuminsnatch · 18/08/2016 08:36

11 days late, induced 2 days early (so was scheduled for 40+13) because of reduced movements. Induced on a Sunday, then it was a bank hol Monday so that's why I was scheduled for the Tuesday not the Monday. When it got going he shot out though! 2cm to delivery in 40 mins.

this may help! There's a wide spread statistically but most people eschew stats for anecdotal evidence!

Blackpoollassy · 18/08/2016 09:03

Monstamio · 18/08/2016 09:18

40+15 - induction followed by EMCS.

Interesting charts Blackpool - thanks for the links

Annabrooke90 · 18/08/2016 10:38

42 weeks with my first after a false alarm at 33 weeks resulting in steriod injections for ds's lungs.

My others though got earlier:
Ds2: 40 weeks
Ds3 38 weeks
Ds4 34 weeks
Dd1 31 weeks.

SquedgieBeckenheim · 18/08/2016 13:16

DD was 5 weeks early, but that was due to complications.
Friends/family have varied from 38-41 weeks with their firsts.
Full term is considered from 37-42 weeks.

BettyOBarley · 18/08/2016 19:11

40+12 (induced)

This was from the scan date though which put me forward a week from the date I know I conceived.

ItsyBitsyBikini · 18/08/2016 19:12

Congratulations! My little boy was 5 days late and luckily turned up the day before my sweep was scheduled! My midwife rang me to see where I was haha

KayJBee · 18/08/2016 19:14

40+12
But the others were 40+10 and 40+13 so late babies are fairly standard for me!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 18/08/2016 19:15

Ds1 - 10 days early.
Ds2 - 7 days early.
Ds3 - 10 days early.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy, the birth and life with your gorgeous, squidgy new baby, Kissed!
