Mucus plug?

Hi,

This morning and just now I have 'gushed' out a clear jelly 'cum' like substance a few times along with some normal discharge... theres been no blood and I cant smell anything off. It only happens whenever I get up.. Is it my mucus plug? I'm 41 + 1 atm.

Ok..... What is a mucus plug?! That sounds horrifying (I'm 21 weeks pregnant with twins- I know I should know this stuff but I keep putting it off)!

I got gushes everytime I got up, an hour later contractions, and three hours later by waters broke film style :D good luck! Hope it's the start for you too.
