Saturday night, I felt a massive movement from the baby, it was quite painful, and very weird to watch.

So its of no supprise that yesterday at my midwife appointment, she thinks the baby has turned breech.

Heartbeat is now above belly button, and she cant feel the shoulders near the pelvis, where they were 2 weeks ago.

I also had a pointed shape of bum at the top just under ribs.....and now its erm...very rounded! I have a scan for Wed at 11am, and then things will go from there really.

This baby has been head down since my 20 week scan, its my 4th, and I think rather naughty

Why would it turn this late as well?

My DD did the big turn from heads down to breech at 34 weeks and then back round again at 38 weeks. It is painful and I was up all night throwing up as well

Hope s/he turns around again!

With dd I was waiting for a growth scan and dd got the hiccups really badly. There was tehn a MASSIVE movement and when I had the scan she was breech, having been head down for a while. Tbh, at the time I wasn't too worried as we were having growth ishooos but by the next time they checked she was head down again.

When she was finally delivered by c-s she was actually in a really odd position (bent double) so just goes to show they move around a lot even at the late stages.

Fingers crossed baby stays head down for you.
