Hair removal

I gave birth two weeks ago and had a first degree tear and an episiotomy. Apparently both are healing well. I'd really like to get a wax or shave down there as it would make me feel a bit better. I'm not sure how long to wait before I can do this, any advise?

Hi op I probably wouldn't recommend it just yet as stitches can take about 14 days or longer to dissolve so if u were to move funny it might cause some problems. If you could hold off for another 2 weeks I think it would be better, but if u are really wanting to speak to ur midwife and they can advise you further.
