8.5 weeks Pregnant and No physical Signs I am pregnant?

With my first, I had the usual tender breasts, tiredness, moodiness etc, but I am now pregnant again (15 months later) and find it strange that apart from tiredness etc, I physical feel fine - absolutely no tender or swollen breasts at all which I thought was one of the number one signs. I don't know why, but for some reason i feel like this pregnancy is not real yet!
Could this be normal with number 2?

Hi
It could be normal because you're too rushed off your feet with your little one to notice. On the other hand losing/not having pregnancy symptoms can be a problem. Is there any way you could see someone, have your hormone levels checked, or perhaps a scan?

Tiredness is a pregnancy symptom. I also didn't feel pregnant with no. 2 until about 9 weeks, despite having awful morning sickness with my first.

Is it possible that you're not quite as far along as you thought? Maybe another pregnancy test will reassure you.

i felt better with ds2 though tired. breasts didnt start to be tender till later probably as they didnt need to adapt as much.

I think symptoms do vary from pregnancy to pregnancy from what I have read on here and what people I know have said. Also, tiredness is a symptom as has been said already so you can't say you have no physical signs, you just don't have the boobs. Would you be able to arrange an earlier scan to put your mind at rest?

I'd just be relieved! No MS or fatigue. Enjoy it!

I never had any signs with any of my pg including my m/c but have my beautiful dd's aged 2.5 and 3 weeks so wouldnt worry.

The only thing I'd say is that that there were several weeks of pg with a toddler in tow were not easy especially from 6 months on when you get your bump and they want to be carried etc so enjoy feeling so good

I have had no breast tenderness at all this pregnancy (am now nearly 37 wks). Last time they were agony. They haven't really grown either, still in the same bras - was out of those v.early on last time. So I think yes, perfectly normal!

MSINPARIS · 31/01/2007 20:24

Thanks for all your comments. Mrs John Cusack - especially yours - it made me feel so much better. Thanks.

I was/still am the same with my second pg (currently 14.5 weeks). I didn't even have the tiredness, only some m/s which I don't seem to be able to shake off .
I actually started panicking as I was also waiting to feel the sharp pains from my growing uterus, but absolutely nothing...
Don't worry, you're fine. Not long now till your first scan when you'll be able to see for yourself !

tinkerbellie · 31/01/2007 21:30

i was the same with both of mine - no breast soreness , no morning sickness, nothing

and i had a misscarriage after about three wks in between so was really paranoid about the pregancy after that, but was all fine

i think that some people just donlt suffer that much

the only thing that i can complain about in both of my pregnancys is the weeing when you are far on, back ache for the last three weeks with ds and heartburn from about 7 months with both

so don;t worry all will be fine

I had no symptoms with my first either, so much so when I went for my 12 week scan I thought they were going to tell me I had been faking it and wasn't actually pregnant. I am now 6 weeks pregnant again and have very sore boobs and morning sickness, so I wouldn't worry
