Sore lady bits

Random question (sorry if tmi Confused) but has anyone suffered from a very sore/bruised lady area?
I'm 13wks with DC2 and for the last couple of weeks I've had this really uncomfortable ache/pain "down below". It's like I've just rode 100miles on a bike (I can assure you I most definitely haven't) or like I've been repeatedly kicked in the crotch! Has anyone else had this whilst pregnant at all? No bleeding/spotting or other symptoms

Hi Chloe, sounds like PGP/SPD. The NHS website has info here:
www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/pages/pelvic-pain-pregnant-spd.aspx

I've had it but not as bad as it could be. Midwife gave me a support band at about 16 weeks. If it's quite bad you could also ask to be referred for physiotherapy.

When you say lady bits can you be more specific? Is it the bony area above the pubis? If so, that could be SPD, and you need a physio referral to get help as soon as possible. If its lower down, around the labial area it could be varicose veins in the vulva. See your GP, there may be something they can do to help.

I had SPD with my 1st and had physio and a brace for a while, but the moment I stopped working it was 100% better cause I rested. This isn't in my pelvis like before its more in my undercarriage. I
May give the gp a call and see what they say
