Been looking at Hypnobirthing books and CDs on Amazon and there are so many to choose from. Does anyone recommend any in particular?

I would really recommend Mindful Hypnobirthing by Sophie Fletcher. I also did the Mindful Mama class to accompany it.

You can also access 3 tracks to download to listen to (two are short and one is about 30 mins) which you can listen to throughout your pregnancy and during labour. I find them so relaxing I actually struggle to get through them without dropping off!!

The Hypnobirthing Book by Katherine Graves, it's really good.

If you have a partner, then be sure you do the practice with him.
It was hard to persuade my husband to read the book, but he attended a course with me, and listened to the mediation tracks that the teacher gave us.
We didn't have an easy birth, back to back, waters breaking before contractions, ended with cs, but I found the idea of peace, affirming thoughts, darkness, mantras helpful. And my husband was on the same page, and acted as a very good gate keeper, and support.

Not sure it would be as useful had he not done the course.

Seconding The Hypnobirthing Book by Katharine Graves. It was recommended to me and I started reading it and using the techniques from the third trimester.

I picked the bits that worked best for me and didn't worry too much about listening to the tracks. Think it helped me feel calm before and during birth, so it went as well as it possibly could.

I used the Maggie Howell Natal hypnotherapy CD and book, found it really useful.
