Hi Everyone, I went for my anomaly scan two weeks ago. The baby was fine and they had no concerns. However when it came to my placenta the sonograher said there was a bigger than normal venus lake/pool - maternity blood and she didn't understand why it was so big. She said it shouldn't be something to be worried about. However when we were in the lift she called me to come back into the hospital whilst she spoke to the consultant. I am now under consultant care waiting for another scan which is on the 19th August. Has anyone had this experience? The pregnancy has been normal so far. Although i have had two occasions where i have had dark blood discharge.
