Anyone know where I can buy a bath stand (the one Index used to sell)?

Does anyone have a white baby bath stand they could sell me? Or know where I can buy one? - u used to be able to buy it from Index before they inconveniently shut down.

I know they are often sold as moses basket stands but the one I had with dd was adjustable height and width.
Please help - new baby due in 2and a half weeks so getting kinda desperate!

is this mothercare one no good?

Flower3554 · 27/01/2007 19:00

I have a similar one that The Blonde has highlighted. It is a sort of Chrome colour and has just been stuck in our airing cupboard for ages. You are more than welcome but it would need to be collected and I'm in the North of England. Do you have anyone who could pick it up for you, perhaps someone visiting this area?

My DD1 lives in Dumfries but I don't expect to see her until Scottish half term, otherwise I'm sure she would have been prepared to meet you halfway.

Let me know if any of this ramble helps.

i think i saw one in toysrus

Baby is due the week of Scottish half term but thanks a lot anyway flower3554. I see you are a foster carer - wont you use it again for any other babies? Thanks again for the offer - really appreciate it!!

I did look at the ones mothercare and toysrus have but i really liked the one we had with dd - unfortunately I borrowed it out to my cousin and it managed to get broken. If i cant manage to get the same one I will just go for the mothercare one probably. Was actually half expecting to see it on ebay but cant see it. Some people are selling it but with moses basket too.

Hi Leahsmum, I have a moses basket with its own stand now. I think we got the chrome one to use as a bath stand but I have one of those bathstand thingy's with a changing mat on top and shelves underneath, mind you I also found a bath on ebay which folds up and fits in the kitchen sink which is ideal for tinies.

I often see on MN people who are pram/pushchair daft, with me its baths.

Sorry I can't be more help. Good luck with the birth.

Thanks Flower. I think I might need it - mind you I cant see anything happening anytime soon. Due 2 weeks on wednesday and everyone on the February due dates thread seems to be having shows/niggles etc - I dont seem to be having anything but bad SPD and heartburn!! Lol!

Leahsmum, have you sorted one out? I have a white bath stand, been trying to sell it for yonks and can't get rid of it. it's in great condition.

leahsmum · 27/01/2007 21:43

No not yet - can you adjust the height and width of it?

Mumatuks · 28/01/2007 17:32

Hi, no it can't be adjusted. It is from Mothercare, exactly the same as the white one they sell now.

have you thought about just getting a plastic baby seat for your own bath? we found that much easier than lugging heavy baths full of water around, and as it fully supports the baby, leaves your hands free to bath the baby. just a thought! About £13 i think.

3andnomore · 28/01/2007 18:56

NOt exactly what you asked for...but these are fabulous

over the Bath Bathstand and Changing Unit

you can also just get a Bathstand for over the Bathtub, for around 30Euros...

leahsmum · 28/01/2007 21:28

That looks great 3andnomore - unfortunately i dont have an adult bath though - we only have a shower unit. i'll prob just go into mothercare tomorrow and get theirs.

i can't think of anywhere that does them on there own we had one but ithink it came from a carboot sale
