due date not matching one i worked out

Does this happen a lot? Its only a few days but I had last af may 1st so I worked out due date to be 5th Feb but dating scan days 31st Jan.

Yeah, it's quite common for the dating scan to move your EDD by a few days either way.

Yes, it's very common - it happens because very few of us will have ovulated and/or DTD exactly midpoint in our cycles. With both DD and DS I was a couple of days out.

Considering your actual due date could be two weeks either side, id take very little notice of either date and settle for 'late Jan/early Feb' :) but if you like your date better stick with that!!

Yes, it happens all the time. Not only do we often ovulate/implant earlier/later than day 14 of our cycle but the sonographer is measuring a tiny baby and basing the gestation on an average.

It happened to me. Edd from last af was 27th Jan, moved to 20th Jan at my scans.

If you have twins, although you will be given one due date you will be told that they measure different dates.

Yes happend to me my due date should of been 10th of Jan by my dates the hospital changed to the 14th of Jan and then back to the 12th of Jan.

Yep, my original due date going by LMP was November 2nd but changed to October 28th after my dating scan.

Me too Alis - due date moved forward 5 days (I knew my dates were fairly spot on for various reasons) - DS turned up 5 days 'late'. He was just massive sorry OP
